Butterflies Season In Cuc Phuong National Park, Ninh Binh

Coming to Cuc Phuong national park in the northern province of Ninh Binh this season, visitors will have an opportunity to get a better view of colourful butterflies.

Visitors to this site during these days have a feeling of walking in a fairyland with thousands of cabbage white butterflies flying in line.

Just only from  3-hour driving from Hanoi to Cuc Phuong National Park, you will immerse yourself in a wonder land of color butterflies every April to May. 

Cuc Phuong is Vietnam’s largest national park and one of the most important sites for biodiversity in the country. It is homes to hundreds of species of flora and fauna. Cuc Phuong has about 2,000 plant species and 2,600 animal species, many of which are listed in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world. This is one of seven centers of great plant diversity in Vietnam.

However, not everyone knows that Cuc Phuong has a “special” season that if anybody ever experienced then surely come back here again. 

Nature has given to Cuc Phuong National Park a priceless gift where perhaps rare in this S-shaped strip of land. Cuc Phuong butterfly numerous and highly diversified, ranging from contractual butterfly, swallowtail butterfly wings on green… But most have to mention the white butterflies and yellow butterfly. 

Cuc Phuong National Park, stretching through the Vietnamese provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa, has become a popular destination this ‘butterfly season,’ for those wishing to be surrounded by the colorful creatures.
